    weirdly enough, there is a perfectly rational and scientific explanation for this. The thin layer of ozone gas which surrounds the atmosphere absorbs most of the other colors of the light spectrum when sunlight passes through it.
    Since blue is the only "frequency" that escapes, that,s what we see.
